1. Creating a Campaign
For Campaign Organizers:
Creating a campaign on Mfadhili is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started:- Sign Up
Create an account on Mfadhili by providing your name, email, and phone number.
Optional: Add a profile picture to personalize your account. - Create Your Campaign
Once you’re logged in, click on "Create Campaign." You’ll be asked to:- Provide a title for your campaign.
- Write a detailed description of your cause. Include the background, goals, and how the funds will be used.
- Set your funding goal (the amount of money you hope to raise).
- Upload visuals such as images, videos, or infographics to illustrate your campaign and engage potential donors.
- Set the campaign deadline (optional).
- Choose Reward Tiers
If you'd like to offer incentives to your donors, create reward tiers. These can range from thank-you messages to exclusive items or experiences, depending on your campaign. - Select Payment Options
Choose your payment processing options – we support Paystack, which integrates with Mpesa for mobile money transactions, as well as Stripe for international payments. - Publish Your Campaign
After reviewing all your campaign details, hit the "Publish" button to make it live! Your campaign is now visible to potential donors.
Once your campaign is live, it’s time to spread the word and reach as many people as possible.
Promotion Tips:- Social Media: Share your campaign on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Encourage your followers to share it too!
- Email Campaigns: Send out emails to your contacts, explaining the cause and providing the campaign link.
- Collaborate: Partner with influencers, organizations, or other campaigns to broaden your reach.
For Donors:
Donating to a campaign is simple, secure, and flexible. Here’s how to donate:- Browse Campaigns
Visit the Mfadhili website and browse through various campaigns. Filter by category, funding goal, or location to find campaigns that resonate with you. - Select a Campaign
When you find a campaign you'd like to support, click on it to view the details. This includes the campaign description, goals, progress, reward tiers, and more. - Make a Donation
Click the "Donate" button to contribute to the campaign. You can choose from multiple payment options:- Paystack (Mobile Money via Mpesa)
- Stripe (International payments via credit/debit card)
- Receive Updates
After your donation is complete, the campaign organizer will provide regular updates about how the funds are being used and the progress of the campaign. You may also receive rewards (if applicable).
For Campaign Organizers:
Once your campaign reaches its funding goal, you can request to withdraw the funds. You can transfer the funds to your PayPal account or Bank Account (via Paystack or Mpesa).- Withdrawal Process:
- Log in to your Mfadhili account.
- Go to the "Campaign Dashboard" and click on "Withdraw Funds."
- Choose your withdrawal method (PayPal or Bank Transfer).
- Complete the verification process (if needed) and submit your request.
- Processing Time:
Withdrawals typically take 1-4hour or More depending on the payment method.
